Since 2001, Apostle Simon Karisa and the HIM Kenya team has established a strong network of thousands of churches. In 2002, Gene Nelson and teams from Rock Creek Church started the Rock Creek Academy. We now have over 480 children enrolled, and over 200 are orphans housed by fellow student families. Now there is an exciting new development.

In 2023, land was purchased to build a new home to house and protect vulnerable girls aged 10-13 years old. In 2024 $60,000 was raised and the first level and foundation for the 2nd level were completed. We now are seeking an additional $40,000 to complete the 2nd level by the Spring of 2025. The hope is to dedicate the building in May 2025.
